#GivingTuesday Spotlight: Willistine Lenon
As we approach #GivingTuesday, a day dedicated to the spirit of generosity and giving back, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on a special supporter and advocate —Willistine Lenon, Vice President of Clinical Operations at Aegle Therapeutics, a biotechnology company that is developing an extracellular vesicle therapy for the treatment of Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa (DEB).
Willistine has become a cherished familiar face at debra of America’s events, supporting and attending our Annual Benefits and debra Care Conferences. Her dedication goes beyond financial contributions; she actively engages with the EB Community to understand their unique challenges.
"I choose to support debra because the organization works hard to support the EB Community. I enjoy interacting with the families and hearing about how they persevere every day,” Willistine shares. “The debra organization takes pride in educating the EB Community about clinical research and the importance of clinical trials. Having this support motivates me to keep trying to find clinical solutions that will benefit the EB Community. I have been supporting debra since 2013 and really look forward to participating in activities such as the debra Care Conference. This conference is like a huge family reunion where EB families and industry leaders come together with one common goal to share information that will benefit the EB Community. I feel the debra organization will continue to grow stronger with our continued support.”
Please join us in celebrating Willistine and the many other EB champions like her who embody the true spirit of giving. Your support, whether through donations, participation in events, or spreading awareness, allows us to integrate direct services, advocacy, education, and research to foster meaningful change for those living with EB. THANK YOU!
